4 Good Reasons You Should NOT Be Your Own Registered Agent

If you plan on being your own registered agent, you may end up having to use your home address, which will make the address public. As the registered agent for your business, your name and address are public information. Also, a process server could come to your home to serve you with notice of a lawsuit, something you may not want to deal with.
